We are

pro-woman. pro-trans. pro-science. pro-queer. pro-questioning. pro-exploring. pro-body. pro-spirit. pro-pleasure. pro-consent. pro-earth. pro-mercy. pro-beauty.

We’re first and foremost pro-Jesus.

We believe in the love and justice of the God who created the world, and that this love and justice came together perfectly in God’s son, our brother and savior Jesus. We believe in a powerful and enlivening Holy Spirit that, blowing through the world, keeps us and our faith aloft every day.

Want to come with?

We’re here to serve the world, figure out who we are, take care of each other, create a little more beauty, glorify God, go deep in our faith, and delight in each other. Sometimes we’re just trying to get through the day, or our homework. But no matter what we’re trying to do, we’re tryna do it with love.

Worship

Every Sunday at 11am whenever classes are in session.

Our worship is a series of rhythms: speech, song, and silence; unison prayers individual prayers; shared experiences and individual experiences; movement and stillness; ancient words new words.

The center of our life is worship.

All these rhythms come together in a syncopation designed to be pleasing to the God we worship and helpful to us, the worshipers.

What do you believe about the Bible?

We give thanks for all the ancestors have given us, the trove of tradition, song, prayer, and testimonies of faith they have carefully preserved and handed on, and which we hold tenderly in our own time. Chief among these treasures is the Bible, the great library of works that chronicle the complicated love affair between God and God’s people. Central to our faith life, we read from and preach on the Bible at every worship service, study it weekly in Bible study, and challenge ourselves to spend time with it daily in private. We take it very seriously, and rarely literally. We believe that God loves us too much to leave us alone with nothing but a book to guide us, and we believe in a powerful Holy Spirit that guides our understanding of these ancient texts, allowing new insight to break forth from old words.
